Software Engineer, PLC
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Tampere.
You will be a member of the Automation and Software team, building software for cutting-edge, intelligent glass processing machinery. The position requires working in a cross-functional team, solving complex real-world engineering challenges, and cooperating with other software and quality assurance engineers and internal stakeholders.
This is what your work is about:
- Designing, developing and testing PLC software to meet product and customer needs
- Troubleshooting issues and analyzing software performance.
- Ensure continued functionality during maintenance and deployment of new software versions
This is your preferred background:
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science or a related field, with a solid background in software development with 3+ years of experience
- Solid experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 PLC software and/or Siemens PLC development with Siemens TIA Portal
- Knowledge of fieldbus technologies, such as Profibus/Profinet, OPC UA or Modbus
